» is the daughter of Lily&OliverAnna Oaken is a somewhat mysterious girl. She doesn’t stick to one personality, and when you expect one thing from her, you’ll most likely get the opposite of that. Anna is unpredictable and wild. Compared to her siblings, she’s always been the most independent. From a very young age, she stopped needing constant attention from her parents. Although she hasn’t always had the closest relationship with her siblings, she won’t deny that she loves them to death. When put in the same room with her older brother, Damon, all Anna does is fight with him. With the heart of a lion, Anna has one of the sweetest hearts you will ever find once you get to know her, when you first meet her she is known to be quite sarcastic and very blunt. Anna is very outgoing at all times and almost alway has a smile on her face, causing people to like her no matter where she goes. Always unpredictable, if you step a little too close to Anna, you run the chance of being cursed out and humiliated. It’s hard to tell which side of Anna you will get.
Anna has never been the best student, but she does excel in school in one way: on the soccer field. Last year, as a junior, she already had colleges wanting to sign her. Now as a senior, Anna basically has her pick of them. Anna first started playing soccer when she was a young girl on a recreational team and just never got tired of it. She’s always found it extremely enjoyable and somewhat of a stress reliever. Sometimes growing to the point of being too obsessed, Anna has spent many nights practicing her kick for hours on end. In fact, the only reason Anna has made it through high school is because of soccer. Reckless and and unpredictable Anna has always struggled in school, both academically and socially. Knowing that she had to stay in school to be able to play on her high school’s soccer team kept her going. It kept her out of fights with catty girls and it kept her doing her homework even when there was nothing she’d less rather do.
Although Anna may not be the most popular girl at her school, she has enough friends. It’s always been hard for Anna to keep friends with her ever changing moods. The friends she’s made through soccer are some of the closest people to her, for the understand her love of the game. During her freshman year, Anna was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. It didn’t come as much of a shock to her family, because they had seen her elevated moods, reckless behavior, and extreme involvement in activities. It came as a shock to Anna, though. She’d never fathomed that something could be at the root of the way her personality and moods would change all the time, she simply thought it was just a biproduct of being a high school girl. Although Anna has slowly begun to accept that there is something psychologically wrong with her, she’s rather determined to never tell anyone about her condition.
